ManageCasa is RentSmart’s preferred property management software (PMS) partner. The integration is a two-way link: properties sync from ManageCasa into RentSmart, and approved households automatically create leases in ManageCasa.

Where to find it

Add-Ons in the sidebar (the page heading is Integrations) at app.rentsmart.com/addons. ManageCasa appears at the top of the page with a red PREFERRED PARTNER badge.

What the integration does

  • Properties sync from ManageCasa into RentSmart. You don’t enter property data twice — anything in ManageCasa shows up in RentSmart automatically.
  • Approved households auto-create leases in ManageCasa. When you approve a household, a lease record is created in ManageCasa for that property with the primary household member as the lease holder.
  • Single sign-on. Click through to ManageCasa from inside RentSmart with one click.

Setting it up

  1. On the Add-Ons page, click Activate on the ManageCasa card
  2. Confirm in the modal — click Activate again
  3. A new tab opens where a ManageCasa account is created and linked to your RentSmart account
That’s it. Properties begin syncing immediately.

What changes in RentSmart when active

A few things behave differently once the integration is on:
  • Create Listing is disabled. The Dashboard and Listings page buttons that normally open the Create Listing flow are replaced with Manage in ManageCasa, which opens ManageCasa in a new tab. Properties must be created in ManageCasa — they then sync into RentSmart.
  • Property Details and Property Photos are locked on the Individual Property page. You manage those in ManageCasa instead. Every other widget — Showing Coordinator, Amenities, Other Information, Auto Denial Rules, Property Owner, Internal Notes — stays editable in RentSmart.
  • Onboarding wizard skips two steps for organizations created through ManageCasa: Confirm Your Info and Invite Your Team. Those details come from the partner.

What’s not affected

Everything else in RentSmart works exactly the same:
  • Leads, showings, households, lockboxes, screening
  • All Global Settings (Auto Denial Rules, Pet Policy, Showing Availability, Prequalification, Fees)
  • Public Listing Pages and branding
  • Reports

Disconnecting

Reach out to Support if you need to disconnect — there’s no in-portal disconnect button currently. Disconnecting stops sync but doesn’t delete any data on either side.
