LeadSimple is a CRM and pipeline tool. RentSmart’s LeadSimple integration mirrors every new lead and every validated household into your LeadSimple pipelines via email.

Where to find it

Add-Ons in the sidebar at app.rentsmart.com/addons. LeadSimple appears under the OTHER INTEGRATIONS section, below ManageCasa.

How the integration works

LeadSimple is email-based. You configure two pipeline email addresses inside LeadSimple — one for leads, one for households — and RentSmart sends parsed data to those addresses as events happen.

Setting it up

Get your pipeline emails from LeadSimple

Inside LeadSimple, set up two pipelines:
  • A lead pipeline for new inquiries
  • A household pipeline for validated households
Each pipeline gives you a unique email address that creates a new record when emailed.

Expand the LeadSimple card

On the Add-Ons page, click the down-arrow on the LeadSimple card to expand it. Two fields appear:
  • Lead Pipeline Email
  • Applicant Pipeline Email

Paste the addresses and save

Paste each email into the matching field, then click ✓ Save Settings.

Toggle the integration on

Flip the toggle switch in the top-right of the LeadSimple card. The integration is now active.

What gets sent

Once the integration is on:
  • Every new lead that comes in on any of your properties is auto-emailed to the Lead Pipeline Email. LeadSimple parses the email and creates a lead record.
  • Every validated household delivered to you is auto-emailed to the Applicant Pipeline Email (LeadSimple’s UI label). LeadSimple creates a household record on its side.
The data RentSmart sends is parsed by LeadSimple’s email-import — the format follows LeadSimple’s specification.

Turning it off

Flip the toggle switch off. RentSmart stops sending emails to the LeadSimple addresses immediately. Your saved pipeline addresses are not deleted — you can flip the toggle back on later without re-entering them.

Combining with ManageCasa

The two integrations are independent and can run together. ManageCasa handles property + lease sync; LeadSimple handles CRM pipeline mirroring. They don’t conflict.
