# Reviewing a household

> The Individual Household page — everything you need to make a decision in one place.

When a household reaches **Pending**, you have everything you need on a single page: every Profile, the documents, validation results, and TransUnion reports.

## Where to find it

Click any household name on the [Applicants page](/households/receiving), or jump from a dashboard widget. The URL is `app.rentsmart.com/individual-household?household_id=...`.

## Page layout

The page is a long, scrollable view organized into:

* **Header** — household name, status pill, and action buttons (Approve, Deny, etc. — see [Decisions](/households/decisions))
* **Property Info** — address, rent, deposit, and the **Increase Security Deposit** action
* **Leasing Timeline** — preferred move-in date, soonest available, expected length of stay
* **Household Overview** — sidebar cards showing adults / children counts, income-to-rent ratio, status, creation date
* **Household Members** — one card per prospective tenant
* **Pets & Animals** — one card per pet, ESA, or service animal
* **Internal Notes** — freeform notes visible only to your team

## Member cards

Each card summarizes one prospective tenant:

* **Name** with **PRIMARY** and **CO-SIGNER** flags where applicable
* A green check icon once their Profile is **Validated**
* **Profile Status pill** on the right (Validated, Awaiting Applicant, etc.)
* **Application Progress** bar showing how complete the Profile is
* **Credit Score** descriptor (Poor, Fair, Good, Excellent) — hover the `?` icon for the exact number
* **Total Monthly Income** from all reported sources
* **Email** and **Phone** (each with copy-to-clipboard buttons)
* Address they're moving from
* **View Details** button → the full **Individual Profile page** for that prospective tenant

## Individual Profile page

Clicking **View Details** opens a per-person deep dive at `app.rentsmart.com/individual-profile?applicant_id=...`. It has tabs for:

* **Personal Info** — name, DOB, SSN (masked, click eye to reveal for 15 seconds), ID photos
* **Financial & Employment** — every employment type selected, with all reported income and uploaded supporting documents
* **Background & History** — current and previous housing, eviction history, criminal background
* **Credit Check** — the three TransUnion reports
* **Other** — additional info, special circumstances, emergency contact
* **Additional** (conditional) — appears only after you've used **Request Additional Info** and the prospective tenant has responded

Each section inside each tab carries the colored validation checkmark — 🟢 Green, 🔵 Blue, or 🔴 Red — so you can see exactly which sections passed or failed.

## Requesting more information

If something isn't clear, hit **Request Additional Info** in the Profile page header. Type your question, submit — the prospective tenant gets a notification and can respond from their Profile. Their response appears under the **Additional** tab.

While the request is pending, their Profile status is **Awaiting Applicant**.

## Why a household might be "In Review" longer than usual

Most reviews complete in **5–7 minutes**. Longer reviews usually mean Human Review was triggered — some edge case in the data needs a second look before the household can be delivered to you.

## Pets

Each pet card has a **Basic** / **Detailed** toggle. Pets are classified as **Pet**, **ESA**, or **Service Animal** — documentation requirements differ for each. ESAs and Service Animals are always considered under HUD guidelines regardless of your [Pet Policy](/screening-rules/pet-policy).
